Serving

Serving In the Church

God wants us to share what we have with others, We can share our money, time and talents to do the work of God. When we share what we have everyone is helped.

Everyone has a contribution to make to our church family life.  Serving is about joining God on his mission to change the world. As you serve your relationships with others deepen as will your sense of belonging. You can serve God with what you enjoy doing. God is pleased when you serve him with a smile.

Serving in the community

Watford New Hope Trust

An interdenominational Christian charity.

Watford New Hope Trust exists to show a deep concern for the homeless and disadvantaged in the area.

In an atmosphere of unconditional love and compassion they seek to offer acceptance and respect to all. This includes practical support such as food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and training as well as building relationships, listening and caring.

GET INVOLVED

“Every local churchgoer has a choice to make. He can make his way to a comfortable seat in a favourite row, watch a good service, chat with friends, and then go home. That choice makes for a nice safe Sunday morning experience.

Or he can throw himself into an adventure by rolling up his sleeves, joining a team of like-minded servants and helping to build the local church God has called him to be a part of.”
