Coffee Break

This is a drop in group for Mums, Dads, Grandparents, childminders and other carers to bring their babies and children under school age to.
Coffee Break provides a relaxed and warm atmosphere for parents or carers to go along and chat over coffee while the children play in a safe environment. It gives opportunities to mums to make new friends and the children to learn social skills.
This is a well attended, relaxed way of getting to know others in the area. We usually have between 10 and 25 adults plus children so come and join the mayhem !
Our adults feed back to us that’s it’s a very friendly, open group and lots of firm friendships have been made with real support given through tough times. The children are too busy playing together to tell us exactly what they think.... !
We recently took part in supporting the world’s biggest coffee morning run by Macmillan.
Their flagship fundraising event last year saw over 50,000 people hold a coffee morning to help people living with cancer. Together with their friends, families and colleagues they raised an incredible £7.5 million!
This year they’re aiming to raise £8.5 million to help support more people living with cancer.
